Stanhope House Day Nursery was shortlisted for the Early Years Award for Oral Health and attended an evening ceremony on Wednesday 5th June at the Tiger’s Rugby ground. We asked parents, family and friends to vote for us. The evening was well attended and food was provided. It was a great opportunity to network with other settings and those who contribute towards improving Oral Health in Leicester.
Guest speakers included the Deputy Director in Public Health Ivan Browne and Dentist and accidental author of ‘Open wide..what’s inside?’ Alex Rushworth.
Unfortunately we were not successful for the Early Years Award however we did receive a framed certificate. Thank you to everyone who voted for us and to our staff who continue to support the improvement of Oral Health in Leicester
